GREEN ENERGY IS FINAL SOLUTION
Following are the two pillars of Sustainable Energy:
1. Energy Efficiency
2. Renewable Energy
An Elaboration on the above states that, without exploiting the potential for future generation for generating power for their own needs in future, taking effective steps to meet the needs of present time is called the Sustainable Energy.
FIRST GENERATION TECHNOLOGIES
After industrial revolution at the end of 19th century, first generation technologies were ushered in by God. These technologies include hydro power, biomass combustion, geothermal power and heat.
SECOND GENERATION TECHNOLOGIES
As a result of oil crises of 1973 and 1979, technologies like solar heating, wind power, modern forms of bio-energy and solar Photostatic entered the market as a result of Research Development and Demonstration (RD&D). These renewable technologies are also environment-friendly and are the best candidates for the future popularity.

THIRD GENERATION TECHNOLOGIES
Advanced biomass qasification, and concentrating solar thermal power, hot-dry- rock geothermal energy and ocean energy which still are under development are classified as Third generation technologies.
Some pollution of the environment may be caused by Sustainable Energy until and unless source being exploited is withheld for an indefinite period.
CONCEPT OF GREEN ENERGY
Being a subset of Renewable Energy, Green Energy signifies those renewable energy resources and technologies that provide the highest environmental benefit.Following are some examples of Green Energy:
1. Tidal Power:
Tidal energy, not widely used yet, has great potential for future use. It is generated by two methods:
i. barrage generation
ii. tidal stream generation
Tides are generated by movement of Moon and Sun in combination with the Rotation of Earth around its axis. This is the only power that directly derives energy from the relative motions of Earth-Moon system and Earth-Sun System.Solar power and winds energy both lag behind the Tidal power regarding predictability.
2. Wave Power:
Wave power depends on Surface waves of Sea as against the Tidal Power that depends on the Currents of water running deep in the sea. Wave power often confused with diurnal flux of tidal power and the steady gyree of sea wave-peaks and troughs. Wave energy converter converting mechanical Energy through buoyed are used in Europe for device
3. Solar Power:
On account of portability, flexibility and easy Installation, solar cells are becoming more and more popular. With incentives from government to make it economically viable option, Solar energy is expanding fast in the residential areas.
4. Wind Power:
Wind Energy is converted into mechanical energy and then into electrical energy through wind turbine.
Use of flowing water under gravitational force is used to run water turbine for generation of mechanical energy and in turn electrical energy.
6. Radiant Energy:
In Switzerland, Methernitha Community has 5 or 6 working models of fuel-less and self-running devices for tapping Radiant Energy. Radiant Energy is drawn directly from environment through the phenomenon of resonance caused by synchronizing of two frequencies.
7. Geothermal Power:
Deep under the earth there is great heat. This has been utilized for generation of electric energy. This renewable energy can be provided at a small scale to a residential unit through a geothermal heat pump or on a very large scale for energy production through a geothermal power plant. In California, USA, at Geysers is located the greatest Geothermal Power Plant.
Dung of animals, branches and leaves or trees are subjected to fermentation in chemical plants. This process produces bio gas which is inflammable. This is converted to electrical energy. At present, the New Hope Power Partnership, the largest Biomass plant is operating in North America.
9. Compressed Natural Gas
Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) is a fossil fuel that is a substitute for gasoline, diesel or propane fuel.
Nuclear Power is energy extracted from the nuclei of atom through controlled atomic reaction. There are three methods of nuclear Power:
ii. Nuclear Fusion
At present only first method i.e. Nuclear Fission is used. The two other methods are not being utilized for the lack of know-how.Read Full Article here: Read Here Top 10 Renewable Resources
All the above Assessment proves that Green Energy is Final Solution of Energy Problem.
